Reopening of the Troodos National Forest Park
Troodos National Forest Park, which were closed during the winter season for safety and public protection reasons, will now be open and accessible
The Forestry Department of the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment informs the public that the following Nature Study Trails of the Troodos National Forest Park, which were closed during the winter season for safety and public protection reasons, will now be open and accessible from Holy Monday 10 April 2023:
- Livadi Path (circular) suitable for disabled people with wheelchairs
-Artemis Path (circular)
-Atalanti Trail (circular)
-Persephone Path (linear)
-Caledonia Trail (linear)
-Tall Tree Path – Puziaris (circular)
-Kato Amiantos – Loumata ton Aetes trail (linear)
-Campos tou Livadiou trail (circular)
-Path Monuments of the Bishops (linear)
- Kannoures – Agios Nikolaos Stegis trail (Kakopetria) (linear)
-Prodromo Dam – Stavroullia trail (linear)
- Prodromos – Zumi trail (linear)
-Path E4 (Troodos Region)
The public is encouraged, for their own comfort and safety, to consult the information brochures of each trail, which are available at local forest offices or on the Forest Department website.
