Reduced construction prices
Based on the data of the Statistical Service, a decrease in prices was recorded in the construction sector
Reduced prices are recorded in the construction sector, according to data announced by the Statistical Service.
The Construction Materials Price Index for the month of February 2024 reached 116.95 units (based on 2021=100), marking a decrease of 0.06%, compared to the previous month.
Compared to the corresponding month of the previous year, the index recorded a decrease of 2.21%.
By main product category, decreases were recorded in wood, insulating, chemical and plastic products (-0.73%) and metal products (-8.00%), while increases were noted in minerals (1.22%), products minerals (0.54%) and electromechanical items (0.35%).
For the period January-February 2024, the index recorded a decrease of 2.23% compared to the corresponding period of 2023.
