The Construction Materials Price Index registers an increase of 8.2%
Building materials are becoming more expensive, as can be seen from data announced by the Statistical Service.
The Construction Materials Price Index registers an increase of 8.2% in the 2023 quarter.
For the month of April 2023, the index reached 135.59 points (based on 2015=100), marking an increase of 2.18% compared to the corresponding month of the previous year.
By main product category, increases were recorded in minerals (23.09%), mineral products (12.05%), electromechanical goods (3.12%) and wood, insulation, chemical and plastic products (2.73 %). A decrease was observed in metal products (9.82%).
