Construction materials prices slightly up annually in January.

According to the Statistical Service of Cyprus, the Price Index of Construction Materials for January 2025 reached 117.60 units (base year 2021=100), recording an increase of 0.57% compared to the previous month.

Compared to the same month of the previous year, the index recorded an increase of 0.50%.

By main commodity category, increases were recorded in mineral products (1.77%), products of wood, insulation materials, chemicals and plastics (1.04%), minerals (0.81%) and electromechanical products (0.62%), whereas decreases were observed in metallic products (-1.21%).
